A little info about me:
Always a sports fanatic and gym rat, I felt something was missing from my life. Feeling lost, it was four years ago that I took a PranaVayu yoga class at a local lululemon athletica store that I found my calling and connection—yoga. The more I practiced, the more positive changes I, and others around me, began to notice in myself. As a ten year cancer survivor who has also suffered from years of eating issues, I know the toll that stress, anxiety and personal struggle can take on the body. Through the Buddhist philosophical teachings, meditations and physical practices of yoga, I found a way to work through some of the biggest challenges I've faced in my life. Through dedicated practice, I am now able to live a happier, healthier, more connected life, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.
As a dedicated yogi, instructor and freelance graphic designer, my creativity, passion and determination for living life flows to all who enter the room. On my mat, I have found many connections—strength, love, joy, courage, passion, peace, oneness—and I encourage my students to find their own connections through practice.
I have received my Yoga Alliance RYT 200-hour certification through the guidance and mindful teachings of 500 Hour Senior Teacher and studio owner Kevan Gale, whom I am especially indebted to. I am extremely grateful for the teaching influence of Kevan, David Magone and many other teachers in the Boston area. I completed my Bachelors of Arts with High Honors in Advertising and Graphic Design in Boston. I plan to open my own yoga studio/wellness center some day in southern Florida, complete with a juice bar and paddle board dock.

We all have different goals in mind when we come to our mats. Whether your hopes are to clear your mind, reconnect with your body, get a physical workout, or to simply de-stress, my personal goal is to inspire my students to find out "where will your mat take you?". Most importantly, I always ask those in my class to listen to their bodies and to have fun!
